Australia’s leading business events marketing organisation, Business Events Sydney (BESydney) identifies international and national conferences, congresses, events, meetings and incentives, then markets Sydney to them as a desirable destination. We work beside business tourism leaders to win and host major events for Sydney and New South Wales (NSW).
Business Events Sydney is a not-for-profit organisation with more than 250 members, including hotels, venues, restaurants, attractions, professional conference organisers (PCOs) and a range of specialists in the NSW events industry.

In September 2008, we renamed our organisation 'Business Events Sydney' to better reflect our goals and core operations.
Today at BESydney, we employ a team of around 30 staff-members who operate from a head office in Sydney and an Asian office in Hong Kong. We also employ representatives in London and New York to supply the European and North American markets.
The Chairman of the Board is Col Hughes, and BESydney’s Chief Executive Officer is Jon Hutchison, AM. The major operational departments within BESydney are Research, Business Development, Bid Management, AccessNSW, Strategic Alliances, Administration, Marketing and Finance.
