Become a member

The nature of your membership with Business Events Sydney (BESydney) will vary depending on your needs and budget. Therefore, each membership inquiry is treated personally. We will contact you to discuss what you hope to gain from membership, and how we can best help.

New South Wales (NSW) is home to Australia’s greatest destinations for business tourism, and BESydney bids to bring the best events to Sydney and NSW. Our members have access to the 45,600 business delegates and the AU$137 million this brought to the State in 2007-08.

Existing members: renew your membership

If you are already a member of BESydney, you can renew your membership online using the Membership renewal form.

New members: register your interest

Email the Strategic Alliances team or call +61 2 9332 5218 to register your interest in becoming a member of BESydney. Your enquiry will be kept strictly confidential, and there is no cost or obligation.

We will arrange a time to meet with you and discuss your needs. We’ll discuss your ‘industry category’, which will impact on the membership level that is most appropriate for you. The industry categories are:

• Hotels: hotel chains, boutique hotels, accommodation, serviced apartments
• Meeting/event managers: professional conference organisers, destination marketing companies
• Venues: unique venues, conference and exhibition centres, function centres, attractions, precincts, restaurants
• Services: transport operators, corporate entertainment, speakers’ bureaus, hire services, information technology companies, special event companies, event managers, small attractions and restaurants, regional tourism organisations, regional marketing bodies

Once your industry category is decided, we will recommend a membership level that best suits your category, your immediate needs, and your long-term plans for growth. Of course you are always free to select any membership level you wish.
