Sydney for Delegates

Pre or post conference or outside conference hours, Sydney offers delegates and spouses an incredible array of activities and entertainment. 

Boasting more than 130 hectares of parks, gardens and open spaces, the heart of Sydney’s CBD offers wonderful expanses of parkland.  Enjoy a picnic or a concert in The Domain or stroll through the Royal Botanic Gardens at the harbour’s edge. 

For the active, Sydney offers a range of outdoor activities designed to show-off its beautiful harbour.  One of the best aspects of the city can be found on foot by walking across the Sydney Harbour Bridge - the pedestrian walkway provides magnificent views of the harbour and city. 

The adventurous can even climb the Bridge, discover a little of its history and enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime aerial view of the city.  Alternatively, make Sydney Harbour your playground with a cruise or some sailing and the promise of a cold beer, excellent wine and great food at the end of the journey.

If you’re keen to know what the locals do you could:

• head down to Bondi Beach for a swim in the ocean
• visit one of the many open air markets and discover the next young Australian designer
• jump on a ferry and explore Manly beach
• visit the zoo and have your photo taken with a koala or kangaroo
• see the latest exhibition at the Art Gallery of NSW
• eat the freshest seafood at the Sydney Fish Market
• catch a show at the Sydney Opera House; or just take a leisurely stroll through Hyde Park.

Outside the conference, your delegates will be busy falling in love with the city of Sydney.
