Sydney for events
Sydney is the best location in the world for a conference or important business event. Where else can you combine stunning scenery, a temperate climate, state-of-the-art facilities and infrastructure, a robust economy, and friendly locals.
Sydney has been host to some of the biggest and most important international business meetings the world has seen:
- In 2008, we hosted World Youth Day, welcoming 100,000 international pilgrims from 170 countries into our city for the week-long event, and facilitating gatherings of up to 400,000 people at one venue
