Metro Monorail
The monorail operates above the city’s streets, providing delegates with a scenic loop and convenient transfer to and from Darling Harbour and the Central Business District (CBD). Eight stations are located along the 15-minute circuit, frequenting each station every 3-5 minutes. The circuit provides access to many city hotels and tourist attractions. A Convention Pass is also available at a discounted rate for delegates.

Metro Light Rail
The light rail system provides a 15 minute circuit around the city from Central Railway Station to Chinatown, Darling Harbour and Pyrmont. Regular services operate from 10 stations every 8-11 minutes.

Sydney Ferries
The ultimate transport option has to be taking a ferry across Sydney’s beautiful harbour. Ferries can transfer delegates from Circular Quay to Darling Harbour in under 15 minutes.

CityRail
Sydney’s train network covers the entire metropolitan district and the City Circle line connects Circular Quay with the CBD and city hotels.
With more than 300 stations through Sydney and New South Wales, including the Blue Mountains, Southern Highlands, Wollongong, Goulburn and Newcastle areas, rail is an easy way to get around.
CityRail has created some special tickets for conferences delegates.
A CityHopper ticket allows all day CityRail travel (up until 4am the next day) at 11 stations through the CBD and surrounds. Stations include Central, Martin Place, Museum, Town Hall, St James, Circular Quay, Wynyard, Redfern, Milsons Point, North Sydney and Kings Cross. The off-peak adult price is AUD$4.80.*
Great value is the DayTripper - an all in one train, bus and ferry ticket (valid until 4am the next day) and only AUD$15.00* for an adult. It now includes discounts to top Sydney attractions.
The Blue Mountains ExplorerLink ticket is one of the cheapest independent daytrips to the Blue Mountains - it includes return CityRail train to Katoomba and all day touring on the 'get-on-get-off' Explorer Bus to 27 locations through the Blue Mountains including the Three Sisters at Echo Point, Leura village and Scenicworld. Prices start from AUD$36* for an adult.
The Airport Line is an affordable alternative from the Domestic or International airport station and only takes 10-15 minutes to Central station.

Buses
Bus routes run everywhere and State Transit also operates a sightseeing tour throughout the city called the Sydney Explorer.
